MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
This year's Christmas is marred by Luis Suarez's 8-match ban affair and Blackburn's manager Steve Kean's calling to quit from fans. However, the Christmas spirit should still burn on. This Christmas, we have a background featuring Santa Claus playing football. Also, we have added a javascript which will cause snow flakes to fall down the page.
FootballMania has achieved much this year. In the past 4 months, we have had a big increase in the number of viewers from the mid-west in America. There are also more readers from Europe and Africa this year. Also, we have managed to get an English Premier League Live Scores widget, which you all see on the right sidebar of the page. We have also installed a gadget called "Follow By Email" which you can type in your email into to receive the latest FootballMania news. Now we also have a football cursor, instead of the regular browser cursor. This year, we also set-up a FootballMania Facebook page, at https://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/109417365784323/. We also changed the design of the blog, and the format of the articles. Our biggest achievement this year, however, is being the first result when you search "yang football mania" in Google. There are many other websites or companies with the keywords "yang" and "football" in them, especially the Malaysian websites.. Last year, our website would be on the second page. We are extremely proud of our achievement and we would like to thank all of you for your support. Next year, we are looking at setting up a FootballMania forum, for fans like you to interact and share with one another. We would also look into using Google AdSense to post advertisments on our blog and earn some profit. If it does happen, we have decided that 80%-90% of the proceeds will be given to charity. We hope you will continue to support us in our future endeavours.
As FootballMania's 2nd year comes to an end, we would like to thank you all once again, and also wish you guys a Merry Christmas!
